Back to the original poster's question, though, if you'll think in 3 generations rather than two, you'll get better results. If you pair the two cats you mentioned, the next generation will be crap, but if you wait until you have a girl offspring and boy offspring and pair them, each of those cats will hide the good stuff and THEIR children can produce those hidden traits, either breed to each other or two the second generation parents. You will never get good results in the second generation. You have to think more long term than that.
