There is no updater for 1.50, or later, so your cat's don't say "Update me".
If you go to the Main Shop and get a Dock, it hands you 1.52, and, when you use it, it rezzes cats using 1.52. Those cats use 1.52 to make boxes and change prim modes.
If you dig back in inventory and rez out a 1.49 Dock, it goes to kittycats.BIZ. Correct that, by hand, to .WS and click on a cat; the Dock will hand you a 1.55 Dock. Use it and it rezzes out 1.55 cats, which use 1.55 for boxes and prim mode changes.
So, OK, head spinning sounds like a good plan.
