RE: Kitty cat ball dance anyone?
I feel like I'm at an auction watching 2 people bid -- now I'm just waiting on the 3rd kinja from out of nowhere, lol
I like your place, Arik, especially the surprise from the deeps.
Winter's place, our place, I guess cuz we recently partnered (still getting used to it) isn't Glam or Disco so much as Neo-Kitty. We love cats -- who doesn't so lots of pics of folks w/cats, including famous folks with cats. It's a comfy space. Winter's music taste doesn't run to Disco so much as it is very varied and eclectic across genres over the last few decades to now. (Whispers: I do harbor a secret love for Gloria's "I will Survive" and Barry Manilow's Copacabana although I can't admit that to Winter, lol. If it wasn't for the til "death do us part" clause, he might take it as grounds for ending the union). I am not that well versed on music. Winter is the expert in that area. But music depends on the Dj and what people want. We have a good dancing space.
Looks around. Thought I heard something. Is that a 3rd kinja sneaking in?
Honestly though, my opinion? I think if KC did the invites, I think they'd rent a large piece of land -- the bday parties are super crowded. If it's not KC led, then we all should just schedule Kittycat Dances with a kitty theme. The KC community should be able to host multiple venues. 2-3 dances a month would be cool, give kittycat people a chance to socialize without it having to be at an auction which is where I usually catch up with folks.
We should start making up a list of cat songs
I have one -- it's really old but
1. The Ballad of Cat Ballou sung by Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye (reasons: cat, stubby )
and this video on What's New Pussycat has really cute kitties, made me smile
