I like all those ideas, Rocky.
The auto-UUID naming is something I, personally, would probably change as soon as the box drops ... but I can see where it would be really useful. And the auto-pedigree deal would be brilliant.
On the breeding issue, I'd really like to see it where the cats can't breed unless they are paired or specifically instructed to seek a partner at random, but I suspect this is a wrinkle that the KittyCats folks threw in to keep us on our toes.
This "feature" just bit me where it hurts today
but I can't plead ignorance; I was just careless about how close a pair of kitties were, both in time and space, lol.
