Depends how bad somebody wants an emerald!

Of the three flavours of jewels, emerald is the cheapest since it takes
more emeralds than anything to get that fancy jewel cat.

Rubies would be higher,
and diamonds would be the most expensive since it only takes a few to get
one of them uber rare kitteh's!

Regardless of which jewel you end up with, they are all very rare,
and thus you are talking thousands of Lindens regardless of which
one you have to sell.

Sell it and buy a bunch of kibbles or start your own collection,
cus once you have that fancy jewel cat....
