In two years I'm in KC, the only time I saw this, was 'SnowShoe Cream' found in a Fancie Kitten before Halloween 2013. Then came Halloween and other people find the same trait.


Another story I remember was' Dry Olive eyes. But the person hid the new trait for months before they say anything. the trait came from a started Easter 2014. Then came Halloween and most other kittens 'Dry Olive' hidden were found.




[COMMON TRAITS]
Any trait that is inserted in the trait list at some point, is going to come out, even in one or two collections forward.

The system chooses the 'hidden traits' in kittens started, is random, and the amount of kittens started sold in each collection, is almost impossible, a trait not be chosen. And the new traits, are set to be chosen more often.

I used to write down all the results of my tests, since Easter 2014. And this is a constant. Even if some trait passed, someone else found.

I opened 54 boxes on Halloween 2014. 8 boxes had new fur. The other 46 boxes had fur old. Virtually all colors of fur in several dominant list. With each new collection, this happens to everyone. Many boxes, to find something new, the rest are old traits. (I'd like to retire some fur, chasing me, laughs)


I consulted some of my notes on what I found in testing.

-Valentines 2015: 1) Chocolate, 2) Fawn, and 3) Blue marble
-Easter 2015: 1) Lilac, 2) Fawn

-Easter 2014: Sorel Bengal, Bengal Silver, Bengal Sorel, Bengal Cooper, Silver Bengal, Bengal Sorel
-Halloween 2014: Tawn Bengal, Bengal Charcoal, Cooper Bengal, Bengal Sorel, Cooper Bengal, Bengal Sorel, Tawn Bengal, Bengal Tawn
-Christmas 2014: Tawn Bengal, Bengal Charcoal
-Valentines 2015: Bengal Cooper, Cooper Bengal, Bengal Sorel, Tawn Bengal, Bengal Charcoal, Charcoal Bengal, Bengal Charcoal

This makes me believe that there is nothing new that has never been discovered, since Easter 2013 forward. or something like 0.01% chance.




[SPECIAL TRAITS]
There are cases that some traits are specific collections, and, after that, are retired. Never again will come started kittens.

Some examples: Crystal Dream in Easter 2013. Royal Sapphire in August 2013.

Thus, only the kittens from a given collection can load these new traits.





[THEORY TRAITS NEVER FOUND]
I have listed some interesting points to build a logical scenario for a possible, lose a new trait.

-in some point in 2011/2012, which was new KC
-A few breeders
-everything what people could buy was genesis kittens on the main island of KC
-much more difficult to discover the traits
-much more work to prove the dominance of each kitten
-No super recessive kitten to do the job
-Some Special Trait of a collection

Taking into consideration all these points mentioned above, I can say, YES, there is a loophole for some trait has never been discovered.

And to find this trait, is need to open old boxes.

Of course, there is always the chance of Callie or Equinox, hitting the finger on an incorrect button, and enable some new traits during the summer. laughs
