On her birthday (today) Ensign Matzah, Federation Starship USS Tarkus NCC-179, led her first off-ship assignment... overseeing the rescue of two neglected, starving, sick kittycats.
Now in the USS Tarkus sickbay, our hopes are that both will recover and thrive... (though in hindsight I am very concerned about ... kittens...)
Ensign Matzah is being considered for rank promotion to 2nd Lieutenant for her excellence in kittycat service in Fleet as a Command rated officer.
