Cat Disappeared...Help

I'm new to all this...actually it's my first day with a cat. I was holding the cat (selected cuddle), then right clicked and selected drop. Poof...the cat is GONE. I can't find her anywhere. Not at the home place that was set...no where. Not in my inventory or my lost and found. What did I do wrong?? How can I get her back?? Any help out there for a newbie cat owner?? Thanks

Never mind...I found her...she was UNDER my house. I thought I look there, but she was under an area of the house that wasn't near where I was looking. Thanks anyway
