RE: Getting "pissy" about the left out older breeds of kitties
I am glad to see that pretty much everyone has the general thoughts as to breed what you love and don't worry about what others say. I guess I just needed to vent because I just got tired of hearing that my cats were to pricey for non popular older breeds. I loved reading your favorites and what you like to do with your kitty's!

Everyone has made great points here, I too try to breed the newer traits into the older kitty's just to see how they will look, it's fun it keeps my mind busy and I probably will continue to do this for a long time!

As for selling, I will sell at what I feel are worth the price due to my time to get that "older" breed to look the way I planned it...and thankfulllllly now with the boxes having images I (and all of us) can hang on to the older ones!

I admire those that breed the cats with the newer traits into simply awesome, higher priced kitty's you all amaze me especially when I see them go for great prices at the auctions or on the bid boards...I don't have anything against them I own a few myself and paid dearly for them and have sold some at great prices and then again I have bred a "higher end" cat that nobody gave a second glance at. Sometimes I think I could create the ultimate cat and nobody would buy it but hey that's not why I breed anyway! lol

I guess to each their own and that's a good thing too!

See ya around the grid !
