Always breed what you love
There are those that breed strictly for the high end traits, making that perfect 9T. But who is to say what is perfect? Any 9T kitty has some work behind it, and should be recognized for that. I have purchased a few 9T (and even lesser traited) kitties because they had something I liked/wanted. So don't worry about what anyone else says
Have fun! There will always be someone looking for nicely traited "older breeds". Heck I just bought a Cream Tabby at auction because it reminded me of my first creams...lol. Hang in there dear!
