Ok here is a tip that I better do soon since I haven't partnered most my kitties. If you are too busy to go threw and figure out which you want to partner and don't want any surprises.
Set their range as low as it goes. You can custom set their range to 3 meters and separate your boys and girls outside the range of each other.
This is also a good way if you want to follow the unproven way of getting their happiness up as high as you can before they pop.
You can also put some of your higher love leveled kitties into cattery, since they can't breed there unless they are partnered till you get a chance to pair them.
