They can come from either collection. They pass like normal eyes once discovered but will always have the 3rd eye feature. There are 3 new eye colours featuring the 3rd eye, as far as I am aware the colours are not available without the 3rd eye feature and neither has anyone discovered a way to remove or turn it off.
