This last update was a huge step for Kittycats. And while I applaud it, I know there are those that do not like or appreciate it. There are options here. Don't want to know the gender, well then don't switch to image. Don't want or need to use the 2D option, thats all right, but there are those that will make use of it. Kittycats can't make everyone happy, but I do believe this is an update that hopefully has created a happy medium.
All markets, real or virtual, change and move. And as more people become involved with the breedables, we need to change and move as well. Offering our customers (and each other) a way to optimize our sales is a plus. It keeps the market moving, and keeps breeders already established interested and excited. This type of update will also draw in new breeders and/or new customers. As someone has already stated, with a picture it is much easier to decide what you like and what you don't.
As far as making lindens; well most of us probably fall into the break even category. Some will be in the profit group and then there will always be those that sell, sell and sell for profit. For me, if I can make enough to support my land and interests, that is great
If I turn a profit, it usually goes right back into SL anyway...lol...thus keeping the in world economy going. And if I am lucky enough to cash out lindens...Hoorah! Doesn't really matter at all as long as I enjoy what i am doing
