RE: Balinese, and the secondary market. Can we *avoid* having a round 2 of this?
I just had a thought ...
Is the fact KittyCatS says not to be involved with the secondary market not meant as they don't want us to think they have different angles with the cats other than making them and sell starters?
I believe some other breedables turned out to be questionable considering their transparancy in the past with the breedables they made it could be this made KC super concience on that.
I wasn't there because KittyCatS was my first breedable and I bought some Roos which are now pets only so I can't know this for sure.
But maybe KittyCatS means to be fully transparant considering their involvement with the secondary market and not so much that they don't care about how their cats market or don't monitor that.
After all they need the markets to be able to show new people what possible furs and traits there are and they have every so often sent a notecard in the group with landmarks to secondary markets.
This gives me the feeling they want these markets to be known and seen.
Totally apart from this I also feel we need some clearness on the most recessive traits because as Saga said I too like to make a cat as recessive as possible as a great "tool" to use with starters and I think it would give some market stability.
The fact they release more furs and traits I like though because it makes it fun to buy and try starters.
But indeed ideally no more most recessive traits for a while would be lovely.
