I saw how easy it was to get one and work it in to my cattery. Not long after that I thought I would start selling my kitties and found a great place at Kitty Kottage and set up shop. Found classes to go to (ugh early Sunday mornings) and then found the great joy and evil of auctions (evil is trying not to bid on a kitty when you know you need to buy food).
Then the tigers were announced and everyone got excited and started talking about getting a tiger. Now I did want one but I wanted one in white so I knew I would be waiting and not getting one right away. Then when they came out the price and the number of kitties it would take me to send in (no I have no issue sending the kitties to the open range and let them run and play). I voice my opinions about the cost with facts and figures that I saw. Yes I will admit with a bit of frustration added in a well. But I did not see the whole picture and when more facts and figures came back to me I could see it. Yes I am still frustrated but I see a goal and ways to earn this goal as well not only for myself but for my close friends as well.
Last night I got a reminder on why the tigers are set at this price and why, at least myself, we do kittycats. It is the joy, the excitement when you get something that you have worked at. Even with all the frustration and doing things wrong you get the one kitty that makes it all better. I am now a proud owner of a Chateau Cat - Tawny & White No.1 the new fur released from the Spring Time - Funflower kitties.
I want to say thank you to Liriel, Nyn and Hellcat, again for all the wonderful help they have given this noob that helped me get this wonderful kitty. I know that when the breeding cycle is over I am going to perma-pet this kitty and hold on to it to remind me. Yes we do not get everything the way we want it but when we do, there is nothing that that feeling!
Callie thank you to you and your team for putting up with all of us during this and keeping a calm and cool head through all of this and do please keep up the good work. By the way I am saving up for that white tiger I hope it will be soon!!
Rayne, you're very welcome. You're a pleasure to work with on kitties because you listen, you learn, you analyze, and then you put everything to good use. Keep up the excellent job!! Sorry about the early Sunday -- but you have to admit, it's been worth it!
