No one specifically asked YOU to sign up. No one demanded you to either. So posting here that you wont be signing up is counter productive, and quite rude, especially since your only purpose for making such a post is to state that you in fact have no intention to contribute.
As far as posting etiquette, this is very much pointless. You are wasting peoples time by opening your post with such a statement. This also says to the reader that you are against anything and everything the current topic is trying put forward. Much more than that, you continue on to say that you obviously are not the person who updates the list anyway, as 2 suggested that they do, and you've confirmed it as well in your own post. This is yet another reason why your post is pointless. You state that you have no intention to sign up and edit a document, because you feel someone else's source is better. If that was the case then my post was not even directed at you in the first place. Yet another reason how your post...yes..was pointless.
The only possible reason your post could have been on topic, and not an attempt to put forward your own agenda, is if you are an auctioneer yourself. This would boggle my mind that you would not want to have a unified source for new people to find your auction times, and locations. It would seem that your only purpose for being opposed to things is that you feel I'm taking your Kitty Kottage sim's 'role' in the community away from it. You think your sim 'embodies' the community? You should be embracing things that help the community move forward. Instead you want me to link to a google doc, that says "Hey if you want more information than what's listed here, come give our sim more traffic by going here!"
A note about your google docs information. While I'm not debating the correctness of the doc, I for one don't like that you list people by short names. You offer no links to their own auction areas, only to your sim. There are numerous inconsistencies, obviously attributed to the fact that only 1 person manages it (patntar, panthar, which one is correct?). Furthermore, what is Adorable, what is Vygg? I have no idea. If that point alone doesn't suggest that your document is flawed, then here is another. Who is Lady Bri? I've done an in world search, and I find 'babybri69.resident". Is that right or wrong? I thought it was Ladybrighid.Resident? I don't even see an auctioneer at Too Adorable named Nika.
I've stated already that we don't seek to replace anything, but I'm not going to link to data that doesn't seem sound, or looks incomplete when I can make a more complete version on my own.
You've given your 2 cents, there is mine. If you're only point in posting on this thread is you feel I'm taking away your presence in the community away from you by creating a unified location for information, you should be ashamed of yourself.
