If someone can explain how to do it or let me know if there is a link where it is described, it would help me next time Smile

Hi Tess
to post an image on the forum you need to type

no spaces in any of that and it should post for you. Looking at the one you pasted here I see it shows Colan was father to 2 Silvers but without seeing their mother its not proof it came from him. I don't doubt you at all but for a proof what we need to see is the pedigree of one of the silvers the same as you posted for the Nat Mink, those 2 together will confirm Nat Mink as dominant to Toyger Silver.
Hope that helps and feel free to hit me up inworld if you need help Smile

thats perfect, reposting it for you

For anyone looking at this we can see that the Toyger Silver was pulled from the Starter Colan by Sabine a Burmilla Chocolate Silver Shaded the same as the original found by Dottie.
In a previous post Tess posted an offspring from this starter with a Tonkinese Natural Mink showing Tonkinese Natural Mink.
These 2 pedigrees together show that Colan Hides Toyger Silver and since he passed the Toyger Silver and the result was a Natural Mink the Toyger Silver must hide under the natural mink making it recessive,
I do hope that makes sense.
Congrats Tess on narrowing the test range on this fur Smile

RE: Toyger Silver
Congrats Priestess on getting the Toyger Silver and on narrowing the spread so effectively. It's in a small range of about 6 furs to be placed within.

The starter Colan Toyger Silver with ID dc4f89b4-3b95-c1d6-4dfb8250cc23 was mated to Sabine who shows and probably hides Burmilla Chocolate Silver.
Their kitten shows Toyger Silver, which must be Colan's hidden fur.

The starter Colan Toyger Silver with ID dc4f89b4-3b95-c1d6-4dfb8250cc23 was mated to Eleanow, who shows Tonkinese Natural Mink.

Their kitten shows Tonkinese Natural Mink, and must therefore hide Colan's hidden Toyger Silver.

RE: Toyger Silver
Toyger-Silver recessive to Australian Mist - Blue Marble.

Bred my very reluctant Toyger-Silver Painted Love girl (she prefers her genesis fur to any others - so far 7/9) to an Australian Blue - and got an Australian Blue kitten - which I had a feeling would be the result (apart from yet another Genesis Ginger) so a hider but better than it's 7 half siblings.

(yay! it worked - thanks for the instructions above, Arwen. No more struggling with Tiny.pic :-) )

RE: Toyger Silver
I don't suppose your Toyger Silver has ever bred with anything rec to Burmilla choc and passed that to prove what we all know, thats its dom to Burmilla Choc. Seeing it pulled would be great. I know Bree would appreciate a definitive proof for Saga to appease the doubters
