Not quite.
Your two pedigrees prove that it sits between Choc Tip and Latte
Mom is a starter, while Dad shows Blonde streaked and hides Chocolate Tipped
The kitten shows Monochrome, which are new, and therefore can't be hidden in Dad
This proves that Monochrome whiskers are dominant to Chocolate Tipped and possibly to Blonde Streaked .
In your next pedigree, Mom is the same starter, who now is known to hide Monochrome.
Dad shows latte and may hide something more recessive.
The kitten shows Latte, which cannot come from Mom.
This proves that Monochrome is recessive to Latte.
Miss Pretty's kitten's parents and grandparents are so young that they may very well hide Chocolate tipped, so we need to pull the hidden whisker colour here to place the whiskers.
Mom shows Flame, and hides either Flame or Chocolate Tipped whiskers
Dad is a starter from the newest collection.
The kitten shows Monochrome.
This
indicates that Monochrome is dominant to Flame, but this cannot be proven unless the hidden is pulled.
Monochrome must also be tested against Butterscotch for final placement.
