RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Currently Saga's chart says about Pewter

Pewter is dominant to Bronze and recessive to Crystal Crush and Double Dip Flo

Here is proof Pewter is recessive to Full Moon

Mom has Full Moon showing
Dad has Strawberry Bellini showing
Baby has Pewter showing which has to be the hid of Mom since Strawberry Bellini is recessive to Full Moon and Pewter

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
"You were the one plying me with wine." Looks suspiciously at Winter, "Why were you plying me with wine?" (clutches her Pewter kitty to her chest) "I know you want it. You can't have it!" (the anxiety of a kitty hoarder rises up -- now another girl might be worried about something else, lol)

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Gerbera Blue is Dominant to Pewter

Mom has Gerbera Blue shown
Dad has Pewter shown and Strawberry Bell or more recessive hid

Therefore the Full Moon shown on the child has to come from Mom since it is not Pewter and Full Moon is known to be dominant to Strawberry Bell. For that matter, Full Moon is known to be dominant to Pewter.

narrows Full Moon to between Gerbera Blue and Morning Dew/Pewter

Since Full Moon is proven to be Dom to Pewter, also narrows Pewter to
between Gerbera Blue and bronze

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Saga's chart says

Pewter is dominant to Bronze and recessive to Crystal Crush, Gerbera Pink, Full Moon, and Ody Cognac Moon - more info, please.

Bronze is dominant to Canary and recessive to Gerbera Purple and Tapestry Allure

So Pewter is currently showing Gerbera Pink -- Canary

I just posted that Full Moon is placed between Gerbera Purple and Morning Dew with proof. Full Moon is recessive to Gerbera Purple, dominant to Morning Dew. See
https://kittycats.ws/forum/showthread.php?tid=20491&page=2

The proven lineup is now
Gerbera Purple
Full Moon
Morning Dew
Canary

Pewter is proven recessive to Full Moon so it is automatically now recessive to Gerbera Purple too.

So Pewter is between Gerbera Purple/Full Moon -- Canary
Just needs a proof against Morning Dew to be placed.

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Good lord girl, you've been busy.
I need to look back through these threads and see what all needs to be tested against morning dew.

Hmmm, now what am I going to do with these kitties that are full moon and gerbera Purple? I should have known you were on the job.

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
There are a few from the Full Moon season that would be good to be testd against Full Moon and GP to narrow them down

Here is the list of all the eyes from that season and where they are at (I am also including a few eyes outside that season but is falling in the same range

Bronze between gerbera purple to Canary
Be useful to put Bronze against Full Moon -- I think it will be recessive because it is falling in this range but proof is needed and several eyes are proven dominant to Bronze so anything with bronze will affect them

Needs more narrowing -- if you have these, pitting them against Full Moon or Gerbera Purple would be real helpful. I'm willing to bet lindens these will fall between Gerbera Purple and Morning Dew but proof is needed
Odyssey Cognac Moon between Exotic Treasure and Morning Dew/Pewter
Odyssey Crush between Double Dip Flora and Pewter/Cognac/Canary
Odyssey Cognac Wine between DDF/Ody Crush and Bronze/Canary

Outliers (these have a wide range but are more recent so against Gerbera Purple or Full Moon would narrow)
Odyssey Adore between Tapestry Harvest and Ody Fire & Rain
Sparkle Dream between Crystal Dream and Tapestry Royale

Needs proof against MorningDew

Crystal Crush full moon to canary/crys berry
Pewter Full moon/crystal crush to canary/bronze
Twilight full moon/crystal crush to canary/crys berry
Crystal Berry full moon/crystal crush/twilight to canary
Cognac full moon to canary/bronze

Placed
Sunset Placed between Caramel & Blacklight
Full Moon Placed between Gerbera Purple and Morning Dew

So as you can see Gerbera Purple and Full Moon are still useful against a number of eyes. Be cool if between the two of us we placed 10 eyes are so, wouldn't it?

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Updates:
Pewter
Saga's charts says: dominant to Bronze and recessive to Odyssey Cognac Moon (and Crystal Crush)
Now tha Odyssey Cognac Moon and Bronze have been placed, Pewter is somewhere in here:

Odyssey Cognac Moon (Ltd.Ed)
Morning Dew (Retired)
Bronze

Only needs to be thrown against Morning Dew for placement

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
Pewter is placed between Odyssey Cognac Moon and Morning Dew

So what we had was this
Pewter
Saga's charts says: dominant to Bronze and recessive to Odyssey Cognac Moon (and Crystal Crush)

on this chart
mom has Pewter showing
dad has Blush Quartz
baby has Morning Dew showing

Therefore Morning Dew is Mom's hid and is recessive behind Pewter

This places Pewter between Odyssey Cognac Moon and Morning Dew.

RE: Pewter recessiveness?
thought this was posted here but don't see it. Doesn't effect Pewter which is already placed. It's just a chart proving Crystal Crush is dominant to Pewter. Putting this here in case someone needs to see the chart in the future. Saga already notes Crystal Crush is dominant to Pewter.

Reven, Hap and my test proving Crystal Crush is dominant to Pewter

Mom Thea has Crystal Crush showing
Dad has Dry Olive showing
Baby shows Pewter which is dom to Dry Olive so has to be Crystal Crush's hid
