Cool, AbiJen! Your girl is great because with the Cream & White shown and Aby Ruddy hid, it can be a two for onefer. So does anyone out there have Snowshoe Chocolate? Or Ocicat Black at or near 100%? (I'll also check with my friends to see if they have any out there)

I birhted an Ocicat Black but it's only a couple days old at this point.

I have also birthed a Snowshoe Choco shown and possible Cream&White hid (old box).

RE: Abyssinian Ruddy Recessivness
Here is a proof that Aby Ruddy is dominant to Tawny Tabby.

This pedigree shows starter Neila hides Tawny Tabby:

Now look at this pedigree:

Remember Neila hides Tawny Tabby.
Therefore Neila's son, Tawny Tabby Hider, hides Tawny Tabby, since he shows Siamese Lilac.
But Tawny Tabby Hider's daughter in the above pedigree is showing Aby Ruddy.
Since Tawny Tabby Hider has Siamese Lilac showing and Tawny Tabby hiding, the daughter's shown fur must have come from her mother, Aby Ruddy Hider.
Therefore, the daughter's hidden fur must have come from Tawny Tabby Hider, and must be Tawny Tabby, since Siamese Lilac is known to be dominant to Aby Ruddy.
Since Tawny Tabby is hiding behind Aby Ruddy in this cat, Tawny Tabby must be recessive to Aby Ruddy.

This means that my female Tawny Tabby is up for grabs for anyone who want to test Pomegranate eyes. She hides Exotic Journey. She is around 60% love

RE: Abyssinian Ruddy Recessivness
WHat are your Tawny eyes, Reven? I have this boy if one does not show up that is closer in love

♂ Jerryl DevaDalan
҈ 17 days ♥ 32% ☺ 69% ↯ 1% 모☁ 0%
Fur: Bengal - Black
Eyes: Pomegranate (Mysterious|Big)
Shade: Porcelain
Tail: Fussy
Ears: Soft Curl
Whiskers: Latte (Fussy)
Size: 46 cm (18.1 inch)

Poor guy is a failed test. His dad had Pomegranate shown and his mom had Ody Cognac Moon shown but mom passed her Dry Olive instead of OCM. So it goes. Testing his sister now.

She has Pomegranate with Ex Journey hidden, so your boy needs a different girl! I have a Frost male around the same love level. He has two breedings left before he's WAY too old to breed.

RE: Abyssinian Ruddy Recessivness
Ok, not Aby Ruddy and not on the list of Primary Project pairings for the fixing but because it fell that range between Oci Black and Tawny Tabby, I popped an old box that had Snowshoe Chocolate shown and possible Tawny Tabby hid.

This is proof/verification Showshoe Chocolate is dom to Tawny

Mom Georgia has Snowshoe Chocolate shown
(mom was bred 7-4-14, two years ago. Her dad Kai was a child of an 2013 Xmas collectible, my first collectibles that I ever bred, that was the xmas I stared. Amazing to me to look at her)
Dad Kelwin has Snowshoe Cream shown
Baby has Tawny Tabby shown

Proves Mom hides Tawny Tabby.

Retired Mom Georgia 7/20/16. She did her job on her first baby! Yay!

RE: Abyssinian Ruddy Recessivness
Wendi asked me to put up the Oci Black/Aby Ruddy proof for her so here it is!

Innana's Mom has Ocicat Black shown
Wendi's Dad has Siamese Choco Tortie shown
Baby has Aby Ruddy
This proves Aby Ruddy is Mom's hid and proves Aby Ruddy is recessive to Oci Black!

Thank you both to Innana & Wendi for discovering this! It is so cool that people are partnering on the dominance testing!
