I set my cats to be group owned by the sim, and I have the group tag on but its not letting me click on the cats to interact with them. It only shows their information and I can only pet them, nothing else

Did you DEED them to the group? That transfers the ownership of the cats to the group. Just setting them to the group should not impact you interacting with them, however, I'm not sure how Deeding would impact them. If you Deeded them, the a group Owner will need to transfer their ownership back to you.

As long as you own them in world you should be able to click on them. Sometimes i have to right click and hit touch mine and the menu comes up, sim lag can prevent them from doing this, but thing sget wonky with having them set to group so i never set them to group.
