I presume you mean you looked in a 5-pack after rezzing and it appeared empty. Sometimes, more often than normal recently, the Asset and Inventory servers can be slow showing the contents of an object. I'd leave it for a few minutes and check again before panicking. If it stubbornly refuses to show any contents, you might take it to another sim or a public sandbox and try there in case the problem is between your sim and the servers. You could try rebooting your computer as well. (After I've been programming for a couple days my system seems to slow down on SL .. yeah .. I know .. my own fault for not squishing the bugs in my code .. but I like to blame it on Yahoo Messenger). Whenever I've seen this sort of problem, I've found one of these steps usually solves it.
If all else fails, file a ticket and I'm sure a kindly CSR will help.
