Notices not posted to the KittyCatS Notices & Info group.

Not all notices are being posted in the KittyCatS! Notices & Information group. I took a screenshot of the two groups side-by-side. On the left, KittyCats Addicts, and on the right, KittyCatS! Notices & Information:



A KittyCatS CSR recommended that I stay in the KittyCats Addicts group and just turn chat off. I thought I'd mention this in case others, like me, were relying on the Notices & Information group for ... notices and information.

I had this issue last year i think it was when the winter collection came out. I had NO idea they came out because the notices and info group didn't get updated as regularly. I only found out once I joined addicts group and someone was talking about it, they really need to update the notices group more. Turning chat off in addicts doesnt stick for some reason with my sl. However, I don't mind chat once in a while.

I need to join the Notices & Information group because since a while when I disable chat on a group via Firestorm it pops up regardless.
So I considered to move to this group but now I see people in there know way less than the Addicts and are therefore not included in everything that goes around.
Isn't that part of the product-experience?
I believe the disabling chat does especially not work anymore by large groups at least in Firestorm.
I know Addicts and the Firestorm Support group which have both many members do pop up if chat is disabled on them it is sort of disturbing because most of us have a reason as for what they do in SL not wanting to be disturbed.
If we close that chat we will not get more messages during that specific session we are in SL but I crash a lot so that is barely a solution -.-
I feel we should have a more peacefull option..

sorry again for the oversight. thank you for letting us know it's important and about the bug with chat, that happens to me too and i wondered why.

As for that bug in Firestorm I went to the Firestorm Jira and reported it.
Cause I prefer to be member of the Addicts and enable or disable chat depending on what I am doing and all.
Sometimes I just love to watch chat

*nods* I mentioned this here previously. I observed the same thing and decided to stay in the Addicts group for the same reason.
