not a bug, more of a feature request for next update: do not breed siblings

From the point of view of game design, such rules make no difference other than to create artificial road blocks for the players. Restricting back-breeding is simply artificial. Players will have problems with it because it runs contrary to their expectations from the Real World. The much-vaunted example of Homo Sapiens' restrictions on back-breeding is vacuous because no such restriction exists.

I depend on breeding siblings when trying to combine lines. As well as other pairings such and parent to child ect. To do this would ruin the way many of us depend on being able to breed.

sib breeding is the best ever in KC. this way you can reach where you want to go...so i dont like this idea too. its a totally normal thing in animal breeding in rl so why not keep it in sl aswell o0

I'm not sure if we would have a happy community left if suddenly back breeding and sibling breeding wasn't possible anymore.
I like to work towards a goal as well and line breeding is very important in this and I do not like to mix genes at all.
Unless I carefully selected two cats with certain features I like to combine in their offsprings, which I frequently do, and the siblings I would love to remain to breed together now and in the future.
These are pixel beings anyway.
I took a dive in a breedable where sibling breeding and back breeding isn't possible and I think they did this to encourage the market but I find myself very frustrated about that.

Personally, I've never understood the purpose of restricting back-breeding and sibling-breeding. Well, that's not true. For one breedable I know of, the designers absolutely needed to add the restrictions so that it would be harder to tell that the results from breeding were random, and not based solely upon genetics.

Come to think of it, I guess I do see the reasons for these rules: they make it take, on average, twice as long to get a desired result and, at the same time, make it twice as likely you won't get that desired result at all.
