SUGGESTION: Roaming Range
I like for my kitties to walk around but at 3 meters they somehow fall through the "cracks" in my home and get lost at time. I was wondering if it would be possible for the range to be even lower than 3 meters? I have put in 1 meter but it appears to be 3 meters when the red circle is shown. Thanks! >^_^<

RE: SUGGESTION: Roaming Range
Maggie,
I remember reading something about a range less than 3M breaking some of the animations, so 3M was the minimum and if you put less, it defaults to 3M.

As for falling thru, I fear it's only going to get worse. They're testing some new mesh pathfinding server software on the Magnum RC sims now and they've rearranged the collision detection pipeline. This is important to breedables because they're physical agents that collide with things, that's how they change direction. My home sim is on a Magnum RC region, and I've had cats with 3m ranges running off-sim and getting returned to lost and found. That basically means that they've gotten over 50M away from their home (in my case) without triggering either their range limit or running into the 1M thick wall or double-layer floor/sub-floor structure I created for my cattery. It's especially bad with the tiny ones.

Thanks *grins* honestly, I've taken walk/run off of everyone now but my pets. I used to let the babies run about, but since they've taken to running off-world, I had to stop them as well.

Sad so sorry to hear that Liri. The little ones running about are lots of fun.
