First Gem in Two Years!
I finally got an emerald. If I want to sell it, is it attached to the cat box? Or is it separate? Where might I get an idea of the going price for an emerald?

Thanks

Congratulations on the emerald.

If you want to sell it, it is seperate from the box.

RE: First Gem in Two Years!

Though I have scored a couple of rubies out of a thousand breedings,

I've never seen an emerald.

They make excellent birthday gifts.

Saving up 20 of the things seems comically impossible.

But the fancy cats you get with jewels give you a jewel with

EVERY BOX!

I got a diamond and emeralds but not a ruby. I've got a long way to go before I get a fancie, sighs.

Has anyone done the stats on jewels? It feels like 1 per 200 births or more.

RE: First Gem in Two Years!
I sold an emerald for 2500. I have seen them go for less. I have been offered less for it. But my reasoning is that these things are way more rare than Megas, so why should we be paid less for them than we would be paid for a mega.

Now as more people get the fancy cats, who as Winter noted, produce a jewel with every box, inevitably the supply will grow and the price will come down. There may be a coterie of people with fancy cats for whom jewels are not so rare who are producing more.
