Hi there i have an old female that was boxed that i just opened. She is a retired starter color. can she pass her color on, or will it be the updated color?

Hi Luna and if you're referring to the starter Genesis Coat and not the Genesis II then yes she can pass it on. Just because a fur is retired doesn't mean it won't pass. Just that the fur is not in a starter you would purchase today from KittyCatS. You'll see plenty of them on the secondary market.
