RE: I dont want to breed
The kitties are fun. You can carry them, play with them.

If you go to the kittycats store
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ki...127/110/25

turn right, right there at the window there is a phoenix fireball kitty. It is free and is already what we call "permapetted" which means it does not need food and cannot breed. But it can do everything else the other kitties can do. I'd suggest getting that one first to see if it fits in with what you have in mind. (there might a coupon within for another free kitty -- but that will be kitty that you will have to feed and will have what we call genesis fur and eyes because it will be a starter kitty)

later, if you want a more "real" looking kitty -- there is a wide variety of eyes and furs you can buy on one of the kittycat sims. However those kitties will need to be fed unless you buy a permapet solution which makes it no more breeding and not need food.

hope that answers your question.

RE: I dont want to breed
what Kayla said Smile plus your question mentioned role play, the cats can be dressed up with add on clothes (vests, top hats, tiaras, berets, knitted caps, Tshirts, all kinds of collars, glasses, too much to list all here!) and have their own furniture and beds like a castle for example. Plus over the years many themed cats have been designed that already wear a costume and are role play ready! There are medieval Knights and Ladies, steampunk cats, Wizard of Oz cats, psychedelic cats, vampire mummy and other spooky Halloween cats some that fly on witches brooms, garden party cats, team sports cats, winter cats with their own sled...

If you get a megapuss, you can put a saddle on it, ride it into battle or fly it through the sky wheeeee....you can attach/animate several kitties to walk and TP with you if you want to role play with a group of cats by your side....

Hope you decide to get a kitty and have fun with it!
