March 2017 Dominance Tests
My current March Dominance tests

with Arwen
Burmilla - Blue Shaded vs Foxie Cocoa
first baby bust -- both threw hids
second baby at 94% should have result on that today
third baby bust -- both threw hids

with Cee
Soul Sparkle vs Crystal Dream (Crystal Clear hid)
first baby Crystal Dream shows (at 87% love, should have first result tomorrow)
second baby Crystal Dream shows (at 7 days)
third baby Crystal Clear shows (still boxed)

other tests were discontinued (other people beat me to them in Feb, lol)

RE: March 2017 Dominance Tests
I have discontinued my Soul Sparkle vs Oceania test, since several other tests suggest that Oceania will is dominant.
The test pair gave me four Oceania eyed boxes, and second generation has only passed the shown so far. I still have the boxes in cattery for later testing if needed.

Foxie Chestnut vs Tonkinese Blue Point have given two blue marbles, two foxies and one blue point. One of the foxies hid blue marble, the secondfoxie and the blue point have only passed their shown so far.
Foxie Chestnut vs Tonkinese Natural mink gave me three NatMinks, one of which hides Blue Mink, while the other adult one has passed NatMink twice.

RE: March 2017 Dominance Tests
I've got Genesis Fur tests up at my mat at Saga.

Patch 1 versus Patch 2 (let's hope the new generation stacks on top of the old)
Ginger 1 versus Domino 5 (let's hope Gen6 stacks on top of the first 5 generations)

Coco 3 versus Coco 5
Coco 4 versus Diamond 3

RE: March 2017 Dominance Tests
I have
Toyger Tan v Siamese Lilac, 2 boxes so far showing each fur, 1st offspring due to breed on Sunday 05/03

Soul Sparkle v Malachite, 1st baby gave malachite

Galaxy Nebula v Odyssey Adore, 1st breed occurs next week

Sporty v Pure Wild tail, breeds again tomorrow so hoping the starter will pass the sporty this week after passing genesis 3 weeks running.

I am also lending Inia a Toyger Caramel to breed with her Australian Mist Charcoal for final placement of that fur.

RE: March 2017 Dominance Tests
Update on my March tests

Arwen's and my test placed the Burmilla Blue so that's done.

Cee's and my test on the Soul Sparkle has me pulling my hair out!

Baby 1 Darchelle, 34 days, shows Crystal Dream, hiding Soul Sparkle?
2 babies, both received her shown Crystal Dream
she is at 95% so crossing fingers on next baby

Baby 2 Napoleon, 26 days, shows Crystal Dream, hiding Soul Sparkle?
1 baby, received her shown Crystal Dream
he is at 98% so crossing fingers on next baby
(I really really want the 2% solution, jonesing for it just like Sherlock Holmes)

Baby 3 Inys, 14 days, shows Crystal Clear, hiding Soul Sparkle?
no baby yet, currently at 71%

----

Addendum a bit later today
Baby 2 Napoleon finally threw his hid: Ody Bell!!! Growl! well at least one test is done.

----

Addendum 3/22
Baby 1 Darchelle gave me back her shown again! Crystal Dream.

RE: March 2017 Dominance Tests
Heres a quick update on my tests as well

The Toyger Tan Siamese Lilac yielded results and placed Toyger Tan Dom to Siamese Lilac
The Sporty Wild placed sporty
Soul Sparkle Malachite narrowed with Soul sparkle being recessive to Malachite
The test with Inia placed Aussie Mist Charcoal

That leaves
Odyssey Adore v Galaxy Nebula, So far I have 2 babies both showing Odyssey Adore, the first will breed tomorrow for the first time
I have moved the Soul Sparkle on to Odyssey Burst, first box is due on Saturday
Finally I have a Nat Mink v Foxie Chestnut that was only birthed yesterday so will be a couple of weeks yet.
Thats the only 3 tests I have going at the moment, although I will be starting Genesis 7 tests this week as well with a Mocha II and Ginger II that are bothed fully tested breeding together to make a start on those.

Time for an update from me as well
Both Chestnuts from the Chestnut x Blue Point pair hid blue marble, while all three of the Chestnut x NatMink offspring hide Blue mink.

I have one Chestnut x Blue Point offspring showing Blue Point left, and I'll breed her until she passes her hidden. With my luck, that will be Burmilla Chocolate.
I found what appears to be a pure NatMink for my Foxie Blondie hiding Chestnut, and keep paws crossed for a placement soon.
