Ohhh I would find this handy, or something similar to solve a problem where I have a few thousand boxes all over the place and when I want to find one, I have no idea where to look.. I can find the box in my pedigree but no clue what sim it's in or where on the sim it is... if I could somehow get it to the cattery, then I could rez it where I'm standing, that would be awesome.
Either that, or have a box's pedigree entry tell you where it is haha.
OR.... be able to name a box from the pedigree, then I can just rename the box I want to find, and use Area Search to find it...

Taking the idea and running with it ...
Prior to the latest change for the Pedigree, it was probably not possible to have web actions effect cats in-world. Now, however, it's apparent some facility for that has been added; otherwise it would not be possible to check the box on the Pedigree web page and have the cat, eventually, begin providing a Pedigree link in its Local Chat text.
I expect the current method of doing that is limited to support of the single feature. But, since it's there, it should not be too hard to expand the system to include additional features, such as:
* Pull a cat or box from in-world to the Cattery.
* Change the name of an in-world cat or box.
* Take the cat off sale by having it re-rez/change prim mode/etc.
Actually, you could instruct the cat/box to do anything. Most of the possible actions probably don't make much sense. The ones I've listed, however, probably have enough utility to warrant consideration.
