Flea - Pricing when switching to image - Liriel Garnet - 07-18-2012 10:35 AM

The 'default' price on a box is 1000L. When you switch it into the Image mode, it changes to 10L -- this could cause trouble if people don't realize it. It's consistent, and it changes back to 1000L if you change it back to a regular box.

Also, people need to be warned that changing them from box to image and back resets the pricing, just as if you'd done an update.

Charm noted this too. It's a flea, but the change was to help prevent theft. Personally, I'd have set the price to 1,000,000L$ instead of 1,000.

Changing prim mode for lives also resets For Sale options. It's a Second Life restriction.

It seems to me that several of the issues which recur with KittyCatS updates would be alleviated if a pre-release checklist were created. I'd suggest they do that and have two people involved .. one to set the options by the checklist, and another to verify proper setting.

I understand it's a second life restriction, anything that creates a cat with a new UUID removes the 'for sale' tic and sets the price to whatever its default is. Any change in or out of any of the low prim modes, application of a collar or other clothing all do it. My concern was that the default 'price' for the new image mode is 10L rather than 1000L and people need to be made aware.
