Proof of Pixie Odyssey Fold No. 2 Dominance? - Candi Roecastle - 11-19-2024 12:50 PM Could this be proof of it's dominance? Let me know, I am curious! Thanks! <3 RE: Proof of Pixie Odyssey Fold No. 2 Dominance? - MaryJane Sunshine - 11-19-2024 03:46 PM Mr. Macaronapop is the source of the ears we can assume. With him being the Father and Grandfather you could have a solid Pixie Ody Fold No. 2 or something possibly more recessive hiding. Since we don't have any type of range yet we can't know where it falls without additional breeding. The other proof you provided (for Ody Pumpkin Poo) had a fairly recessive eye pulling behind it which was the main reason it was a great proof. It solidified that soul whisper was in fact hiding on the Momma because the Daddy's faded flower is more recessive than either of the eyes Momma has showing/hiding. Maybe a more recessive ear paired up with the Pixie Ody Fold No. 2 could shed more light. RE: Proof of Pixie Odyssey Fold No. 2 Dominance? - Arcadiamyst Resident - 11-20-2024 06:38 AM Candi I'd also test that baby to see what's hiding under the numoo as well as the ear. Try a euro grey with pixie equine or similar to test both traits. RE: Proof of Pixie Odyssey Fold No. 2 Dominance? - MaryJane Sunshine - 11-20-2024 02:17 PM Good point. Since the baby pulled Ms. Bandita's hidden fur (which is from Amora) that means the baby has to be hiding whatever fur Mr. Macaronapop is hiding. If you don't know what fur he's hiding yet a nice recessive fur paired with that baby will pull it right out. |
