RE: Retired fur? - Ivy Norsk - 06-26-2021 02:33 PM I'm guessing the box was rezzed before the fur was retired. RE: Retired fur? - Tad Carlucci - 06-26-2021 05:11 PM The 'box' in this case being Dad, RE: Retired fur? - Devilness Chant - 06-26-2021 06:06 PM I had him in cattery for a few years since I bought him, but I thought they got updated when you took them out of cattery or opened them? It makes me want to open more old boxes! lol RE: Retired fur? - FoxieCat Resident - 06-26-2021 06:43 PM Hi, Traits are assigned to starter cats upon first rez in world. Since you stated you have had the cat in your cattery for years, it has/hides the traits that were out at the time it was first set in world years ago. Just for clarification: Bringing a cat from cattery (or using an updater can) will update the cats version, but will not change what traits the cat has or hides. Opening (birthing) cats does not update or change any of their stats either. RE: Retired fur? - Serena Stroikavskoi - 06-26-2021 07:00 PM Just to clarify that this also goes for packages you have "opened" but not rezzed the boxes, right? Just checking about some packages I haven't opened and some I have but not pulled the boxes out yet. If you have opened the package but not rezzed the actual cat box then no traits have been assigned, they will be assigned the first time its rezzed inworld and you get the loading message. |
