If you don't want a breedable cat then I do not think sex would matter. Shade is really rare on a confetti and Flash shade is rare on a normal cat let alone a confetti.

Flash shade was a limited edition trait in the Winter 2012 collection, while the Confetti cats were released in July 2015.
Since two Confetti must be bred together to pass their fur, this means that it is impossible to breed a Confetti with Flash shade.
I hope you'll find a Glitter 'fetti though!
