Apache CatSmart SIM status? - Shamu077 Resident - 06-11-2015 06:16 AM Does anyone know what is happening at Apache CatSmart secondary market SIM? It's been a quite a few hours since I can not TP there, getting the Destination No Longer Exists message instead. I had a small shop there with about 25 9T boxes, as did a few others. I would like them returned if the SIM has closed with no notice to the Renters. UPDATE - If you have cats and other objects at Apache, better get them NOW, while you have a chance. I filed a support ticket: Hi Shamu077, Thank you for contacting support. This region has been taken offline intentionally and it shows no indication of being reactivated at this time. I have brought the region back online for you to retrieve your objects. This region will be taken back offline tomorrow. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us back. Yes, that seems the case. Most of the shop owners there have not logged on since before the SIM was taken offline, and still do not realize they will lose their cats and other objects. There was NO advance notice given, and one very short Notice sent out last night from the manager that you have 2 days to take your cats, after I had the sim brought back up. The cats will not be Returned. Since the SIM was purchased from LL, there is no land management company to clear the sim and Return the cats. LL just takes the SIM offline and waits for the owner to show up to reclaim it, and if that never happens, the only way to get your no copy objects back is to ask LL to bring the SIM back for a short time, as I did. There are some valuable collectibles still left in the shops. One shop had older collector boxes and original packages worth over 200K $L, well at least as they were priced. Of course KC can replace all those rare editions, if you have the ID# of all the boxes in your shop. That is a ~lot~ of extra work for both the owner, and Kitten Longmeadow. It would be much easier to just visit and stick the cats in your Cattery or Inventory, or for the SIM Manager to simply Return everything to their owners. RE: Apache CatSmart SIM status? - hershey26926 Resident - 06-13-2015 07:27 AM i think maybe even if apache is takeing down and people still has cats there and was not on to heed the warning to get there cats out might be able maybe to file a ticket with kittycats to reclaim there lost boxes they had at apache if they can renember what cats they had there but that in it self will be a pain sending in all them kittycats id numbers in a ticket or tickets RE: Apache CatSmart SIM status? - Kitten Longmeadow - 06-14-2015 10:00 AM (06-12-2015 03:45 AM)Shamu077 Resident Wrote: Of course KC can replace all those rare editions, if you have the ID# of all the boxes in your shop. Although it's best if people go and grab their boxes while they can, we can (and will) retrieve any boxes that vanish when the sim goes offline. I do STRONGLY suggest that people try to get their boxes from the sim first though. If we retrieve the boxes and then the sim is brought back up after with the original boxes still there, it could potentially create problems with the boxes we previously retrieved. |
