I love having my kitties as Perma-Pets, but doing so takes away some of the fun of the KittyCatS system. I liked having to keep my cats statistics up (even the hunger - I just didn't like the expense). And when you make your cat a Perma-pet, it's happiness is also maxed out to 95%.
So my suggestion would be to allow our cats to still have statistics we can manipulate. I liked petting my kitty and raising his happiness. I would be happy with this single metric to be able to influence, but I am sure there are others that could be created, too.
In closing, just because I made my kitty a Perma-Pet doesn't mean I am lazy and don't want to interact with my kitty. So please keep the Happiness trait at the same place as it was when they are normal breeding cats. It adds to the fun (and competitiveness - "my cat's happier than you cat - I'm a better mama - Ha!").
