You need a Dock (available free at the Main Store).
Rez the dock. Accept the scary warning about money. Then click on the dock and select Cat->SL from the blue pop-up dialog. This brings up a special listing of cats and boxes in your Cattery. Locate the cat and click on it. In a few moments your cat should appear on the dock.
