Question about retired traits - Desire Strangelove - 04-04-2014 12:11 PM Can someone explain retired traits to me? For instance, if an eye color is retired and you are breeding cats, should that eye color show up in a kitten that you breed? (i.e. one of my kittens had mercury eyes)? Thanks! Desire RE: Question about retired traits - Barbara Collazo - 04-04-2014 12:43 PM A retired trait is simply one that will not appear in new starter cats. You can purchase cats in the secondary market with them; you can breed cats that may have them hidden, but you won't find them in brand-new cats from the shop.
