Suggestions for website - CobwebHDC Resident - 03-03-2014 08:43 PM I apologize if any are mentioned somewhere else already, but I've been spending a lot of time in Cattery and thought of some things I think would benefit all. 1) have "Include/Exclude" option on the filters. Give the ability to eliminate from the list as well as select. This could help eliminate Gen traits, or perhaps things you don't want to sell (exclude Mega, swanky tail, etc) 2) option for multiple selections. ...example, sometimes I want to see all my Russians, not just white OR black OR blue. Or all my Ody eyes, all my green shades. ctrl-click for multiple selections works well for this. 3) After Edits, return the user back to the page they were on, including a filtered list. An example for this is when using the new 'naming' feature in Cattery (WHICH IS AWESOME), if you edit a box name and click Save... it throws you back to the unfiltered list. So if you have a few boxes you need to update.. or a LOT.. or maybe you ran a list of all your Pandies and noticed a couple weren't named.. you don't have to re-filter every single time you are done renaming (or whatever kind of edit) 4) Add a Filter to the Pedigree List for the "ENABLE INWORLD PEDIGREE" Y/N. You could offer the option to set it there, and have a "check all" option. Or some kind of "universal" button that will enable all your inworld pedigrees at one time. Feel free to add to this list My 2c ~ Cobbie RE: Suggestions for website - Tad Carlucci - 03-03-2014 08:47 PM #1 and #2 are possible but would require replacing a huge chunk of Javascript and, probably, a redesign of the pages. So this may take a while, it it ever happens. #3 is a function of you web browser. Some do it, some don't, some sorta do sometimes but then again maybe not. #4 has been declined due to network traffic / lag concerns (probably reasonable concerns) RE: Suggestions for website - CobwebHDC Resident - 03-03-2014 08:50 PM (03-03-2014 08:47 PM)Tad Carlucci Wrote: #3 is a function of you web browser. I agree with all of these suggestions, as i've spent days and days sorting my cats to be sold, or bred from... i would dearly love it if you could add a column for Trait #s so the whole thing can be sorted by that also, as i base pricing on this <3 Thanks for the Post Cobbie, and to Kittycats in anticipation <3 ... and no Tad i don't have Fire fox lol <3 |
