Aw..... one of my Aby Fawn revealed he had the wrong hidden this week too. Keeping fingers crossed for the next one to drop something useful in a few days.

Damn them! I think I had another box from that pairing so I'll have a look and open it and pop the parents back together next week. The Red is currently making boxes with a Scottish to test.

Wow, I'm beginning to feel like they are the Roadrunner and we are Coyote Wiley! Foiled again! lol

Woot... my Bengal cooperated today...

British SH C&W is indeed recessive to Bengal Snow.

-----

So this leaves the range for Brit placement as: Dominant to Ocicat Chocolate and recessive to Bengal Snow, and just needs to be proven against the following furs to be placed on the charts...

Ocicat Tawny
Abyssinian Fawn (Retired)
Snowshoe Red
Siamese Flame (Retired)

I have a Test kitten of Aby Fawn x Brit (Aby Fawn fur shown) due to drop a box in a few days...
and a pair set up of Brit SH C&W x Siamese Flame.

If anyone happens to have a Oci Tawny female live, the Bengal male who is proven to hide Brit would be available for a mating early next week. Drop me an IM in world please. TY!

Thanks.. we're getting so close now.

I'm waiting the couple days for the Aby Fawn to hopefully reveal his hidden, before I unpack anything more.
If that one is a fail (has the wrong hidden), I'll mate him back to a Brit for more test boxes.

I also have an Oci Tawny female box I can unpack, and will start down that road too.
(But I am hoping the Aby reveal *might* eliminate the need to test against Oci Tawny. We'll see.)

With Simplicity from Happy and Mahkah from Ivy, I cobbled together a kid for a British vs Siamese Flame test

British is shown, looking for a Siamese hid. No luck this week, the shown passed. But he did make a pretty baby with Camilla passing a lot of his other hids
