Brit x Oci Chocolate test kitty (Brit fur shown) dropped a Brit kitten again. Still trying to pull the hidden fur. Will go another week on that one and keep fingers crossed that they are more cooperative next time around.

On an encouraging note though, the Kittycorn who carries Brit fur, bred to an Oci Chocolate, gave another British furred kitten box. Holding that box in reserve until I find out the hidden fur on the first test kitten.

Reven and I just paired a Brit x Abyssinian - Fawn. Hopefully some of these proofs will start coming through for us soon. Smile

First test kitten from Brit x Bengal Snow is a Bengal Snow shown fur. Unpacked him.

A Quick update on my tests
British Shorthair v Snowshoe Red gave up a British shorthair. While it is my belief that the snowshoe Red is pure I did discover Chat Cat Coffee & Cream in the pedigree and could not completely rule it out as a possible hidden so to this end I will test the baby to be sure

British Shorthair v Bali Choc
Another British this week from the pairing, first breed from baby #1 will be next monday, so fingers crossed on a result from that.

Excellent. Keep us posted on the Snowshoe Red, as once we know for certain... that'll knock out the Ocicat Chocolate fur and I can pick up those test pairs too. Wink

Not sure exactly where this might fit but have a pair of brits producing an aussie snow

Very pretty cat, Aussie Snow sits below Foxie Salt and Pepper and well below the range we currently have the British Narrowed to which is Recessive to Aby Blue and dominant to Bali Lilac Smile

Very pretty cat! It's good to keep an eye for charts you see out there, though, so I'm glad you'e looking.

I noticed the charts were updated in regards to Brit SH C&W being Dom to Bali Lilac, but not in relation to being rec to Aby Blue.
So in case more proof is needed, here is a second kitten proving Aby Blue Dominant to British SH C&W.

Aby Blue bred to Tonk Natural produced Brit SH C&W kitten(s).
Since Tonk Natural is known to be rec to Aby Blue, the Brit has to be "Dodger's" hidden fur,
hence rec to his shown Aby Blue fur.

And..

Brit x Oci Chocolate test kitty (Brit fur shown) dropped a Brit kitten again.
So two pair of those will continue on for another week, unless that Oci fur gets knocked out of range in the mean time.
