RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Please post your evidence here - Reven Rosca - 08-26-2016 09:40 AM This post will be cross posted to the AMDC and FCC threads ![]() Maternal grandma shows Foxie Cocoa & Cream Maternal grandpa shows Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate. Mum shows Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate and hides grandpa's shown or hidden fur. Dad is an Australian Mist - Blue Marble, which is known to be recessive to both Foxie Cocoa & Cream and Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate. Kitten shows Foxie Cocoa & Cream, which must have passed from mum and be her hidden fur. This proves that Foxie Cocoa & Cream is recessive to Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate. RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Please post your evidence here - Brunabug Nightfire - 08-26-2016 10:33 AM I have proof that Coffee Cream No. 1 is Dominate to Foxie Coca Cream Here are some screen shots: Screen shot of the Foxie Coca Cream showing up behind the Coffee Cream No. 1 ![]() Here is a screen shot of the Coffee Cream OS < the mother of the kitten above- showing it is hiding Foxie Coca Cream> ![]() If you need any thing else let me know. BreeAnn RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Please post your evidence here - Brunabug Nightfire - 08-26-2016 05:12 PM I also have two other projects going on to try and pin down the Foxie CC fur. Foxie CC vs. TawnyWhite Tabby and Foxie CC vs. Bali Flame Lynx. The TawnyWhite Tabby project has produced - a TawnyWhite and a FoxieCC. Mother: Foxie CC / Foxie CC (possible B.Black about 4 or 5 gens back) Father: TawnyWhite / Bengal Black The first OS is a TawnyWhite and I have her paired up with a Snowshow Cream / H. Aby Dark Choco or more recessive Waiting for first kitten. If the kitten tosses hidden fur it could be Foxie CC or maybe the BengalBlack, if it passed hiddenly for the 4-5 gens. Hoping to see the Foxie CC. The B.Black is more dominate to Snowshow cream or Aby Dark Choco so if the Snowshoe cream tosses shown or hidden, will see the B.Black and the project is a Fail, because we already know that B.Black is recessive to FoxieCC. Just opened up the 2nd OS, the Foxie CC. Plan on Pairing it up with an Aby Dark Choco / H. AustMist- Blue, when it is 14 days old. If the kitten tosses hidden fur it could be the TawnyWhite or the Bengal Black. Pretty sure it is the Bengal Black but only testing it will prove that. The B.Black is dominate to both AbyDark Choco and AustMist – Blue so if B.Black is hiding we will see it show, and again this project would be a fail, because we already know that B.Black is recessive to FoxieCC. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As for the FoxieCC vs. BaliFlame Lynx they have produced two FoxieCC furs on both kittens. Mother: FoxieCC / FoxieCC (Possible B. Black 4 or 5 gens back *NOTE* Full sib to the other FoxieCC in the TawnyWhite project) Father: BaliFlame Lynx / Foxie Salt & Pepper I have the first FoxieCC OS paired up with an Aby DarkChoco / H. AustMist - Blue (same cat listed above that will help the TawnyWhite Project down the road) I am waiting for their first kitten. If the FoxieCC tosses is hidden it could be the BaliFlame or Foxie S&P. I hope that the fur is BaliFlame and not the Foxie S&P. We will see both of those furs because the AbyDarkChoco and the AustMist – Blue are both recessive to BaliFlame and Foxie S&P. If it tosses the FoxieS&P then this project is a Fail because we already know that Foxie S&P is Recessive to Foxie CC. If this is a fail, then I might open up the other FoxieCC box just to make sure it is not hiding the BaliFlameLynx. But that will be down the road. Depends if my starters (the mother and father listed above) ever give me a kitten box with BaliFlame Lynx showing. I would have to prove that the Bengal Black was tossed and is for sure hiding on that mother and not something more recessive that somehow was sneaking behind the furs for several generations. I know that is a lot of information and I hope everyone who read it understands my plan of attack on the project. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Amitola was a dud, hiding maternal great grandpa's Blue Marble. Her sister Hallie is unboxed for testing, and the parents have just dropped their third female Foxie Blondie box. Please post your evidence here - Brunabug Nightfire - 08-31-2016 09:03 AM I think I have proved that Foxie Coca Cream is Recessive to Tawny & White Tabby. ![]() Mother Tawny & White Tabby is the one hiding the Foxie CocaCream! This looks conclusive to me. Maternal grandparents show Foxie CC and ASH Tawny & White Tabby. Mum shows ASH Tawny & White Tabby Dad shows Snowshoe Cream Kitten shows Foxie Cocoa Cream which is known to be dominant to Snowshoe Cream and therefore must be mum's hidden and recessive to ASH Tawny & White Tabby. RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Please post your evidence here - Brunabug Nightfire - 08-31-2016 07:35 PM So based on the SAGA List the Foxie Coca Cream falls between these furs.... Balinese Blue Lynx (Retired) Balinese Flame Lynx Tonkinese Blue Mink Tortie Main Coon Plush Calico Meaning Dominate To TawnyWhite Tabby and Recessive to Ocicat Eb Silver. *** Correction! Meant Tawny & White Tabby is Dominate to Foxie CC and Ocicat Eb Silver is Recessive to FoxieCC. *** I am working on the Balinese Flame Lynx fur vs.the Foxie Coca Cream. I have only produced Foxie Coca Cream kittens. The Balinese Flame Lynx is hiding Balinese Cream and we know that Balinese Cream is Recessive to the FoxieCC so it could have tossed its hidden every time. I have opened one box so far and testing it up to an Aby Dark Choco/ AustBlue Marble kitty. I am hoping to see the Balinese Flame Lynx...but we will see the results. If I see Balinese Cream then I will have to open up the other boxes and test them. Will keep you all posted.

Just clarifying for any new breeders following the thread. ![]() Also as a side note on your Bali Flame tests. We know AMDC is dominant to the Cocoa Cream and I'm currently conducting tests on Bali Flame v AMDC so I'll cross post those results here too if it affects the Cocoa Cream. RE: New Foxie - Cocoa Cream. Please post your evidence here - Kayla Woodrunner - 09-01-2016 05:23 AM Congrats, Brunabug on the proof! That proof shows Foxie Cocoa is recessive to Tawny & White Tabby. And previously it was shown dominant to Ocicat Ebony Silver. A previous proof showed Foxie Cocoa recessive to Dark Choco Aussie Mist Brunabug's proof knocks out 5 furs so I am showing this as the spread currently Tawny & White Tabby Balinese Blue Lynx Balinese Flame Lynx Tonkinese - Blue Mink Tortie Maine Coon Plush Calico Ocicat Ebony Silver |
