Great job, Eleanor! Knocked of a couple of the most recessive eyes. The new range is now only 8 eyes to be tested

Have a proof that Mountain Mist is recessive to Dry Olive, which will place it between Dry Olive and Exotic Journey. Theo Nacht sent me information about the Mountain Mist eyes a few weeks back but it was not conclusive and I asked him to test out the offspring in question to confirm the hidden eye. He sent me information and asked me to share it with you all here.

Back ground on Grandfather “Jolie”

Father "Bandito" showed Mountain Mist / Hidden???
Mother " Cookie" Showed Serenity / Opaline+
Jolie shows Mountain Mist and has to be hiding Opaline+

Screen shot of the original kitten in question "TEST EYES"

Father “Jolie” showed Mountain Mist / Opaline+
Mother “Elisa-Mae” showed Galaxy Moon / Dry Olive *confirmed because you see it on her offspring
“TEST EYES” – AKA New kitten – showed Dry Olive / hidden either Mountain Mist or Opaline+
NOTE- It is already known that Dry Olive is dominant to Opaline, so if Jolie tossed Opaline, the Dry Olive would have showed on “TEST EYES”

FINAL OFFSPRING pedigree Screen Shot- PROOF that Mountain Mist is recessive to Dry Olive!!!

Father “TEST EYES” Showed Dry Olive / hidden either Mountain Mist or Opaline+
Mother “Soul Whisper” Showed Soul Whisper/ Soul Whisper+
FINAL OFFSPRING – Showed Mountain Mist/ Soul Whisper
We see the Mountain Mist on the FINAL OFFSPRING, and we already know that is dominant to the Soul Whisper (Mommy’s shown eye color),
making confirmation that "TEST EYES" is hiding Mountain Mist.
Thus Dry Olive is dominant to Mountain Mist.

Already Known: Mountain Mist is dominant to Exotic Journey

Mom shows Soul Whisper
Dad shows Dry Olive
Baby shows Mountain Mist so has to be the hid of Dad. Proves Mountain Mist is recessive to Dry Olive.
