Except it wasn't my test, but another random pedigree (from the same line as my cats come from) Galaxy Moon Eyes recessive to strawberry bellini eyes - Aramis Gontineac - 09-02-2016 12:49 AM these pics to show that galaxy moon eyes are recessive to strawberry Bellini eyes and dominant to odyssey Bellini eyes : ![]() Ayesha 11 got strawberry eyes from his mum Ayesha. His dad, Chokita 01, shows galaxy moon eyes and hides exotic Journey. Therefore Ayesha 11 hides either galaxy moon or exotic breeze eyes. But his daugther, Burma 02, shows galaxy moon eyes, so we can exclude exotic breeze as hidden eyes for Ayesha 11. So, Galaxy moon is recessive to Strawberry Bellini. ![]() As we can see, Burma 02 shows galaxy moon eyes inherited from her dad Ayesha 11. Her mum Burma comes from an Odyssey Bellini eyes line which are known to be recessive to violet eyes and therefore to galaxy moon eyes. RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - Kayla Woodrunner - 09-02-2016 01:23 AM Great proof! Thank you, Aramis. I'll update the eye list in a bit with the new range RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - Arwen Swordthain - 09-02-2016 02:02 AM Thats great Aramis, since we already know Galaxy Moon is dominant to Violet that narrows the number of eyes to test against to 3 Fancie Purple Diamond Odyssey Kaleidoscope Jade RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - PurringFox McMillan - 09-18-2016 10:30 PM Am testing Jade Now RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - PurringFox McMillan - 09-19-2016 10:21 PM Tentatively placed between Jade and Oddesy Kaleidoscope First the Jade - Moon dom to Jade Mom - ![]() Dad - ![]() Offspring - ![]() Cee Odessy Kaleidoscope Mom - ![]() Dad - ![]() Offspring - ![]() So Odyssey Kaleidoscope > Galaxy Moon > Jade Cee RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - Aramis Gontineac - 09-20-2016 02:16 AM (09-19-2016 10:21 PM)PurringFox McMillan Wrote: Tentatively placed between Jade and Oddesy Kaleidoscope HI Cee, I'm OK with your proof against Jade. But your proof against Ody Kaleidoscope is not concluent. This cute Mooh kitten has herited Ody Kaleidoscope eyes from the mum, so far i'm OK with you. But the father isnt a pure galaxy moon and hides blush quartz or ody Bellini eyes and he could have transmittted it to the kitten. You need to partner the mooh kitten with a female showing at least ody Bellini eyes and see which hidden trait comes out (gal moon or blush quartz). If Galaxy moon comes out, then the galaxy moon eyes ranking will be prooven. Hugs RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - Arwen Swordthain - 09-20-2016 06:16 AM Ok the Dad with Jade looks like he hides at least Odyssey Bellini from his mother so the proof against Jade is not conclusive as Odysey Bellini could hide instead of Jade therefore we need to see the Jade pulled back out from under the Galaxy Moon. Tha Galaxy Moon cat used in the Ody Kaleioscope test hides Blush Quartz again this could be hiding under the Ody Kal so once again we need to see proof the baby hides Galaxy Moon. I'm afraid these proofs are not enough on their own. The work is great just needs to completed by testing both babies for their hiddens. I note you say tentatively placed, is this because you have popped the boxes to confirm? RE: Galaxy Moon Eyes - Any Info? - Kayla Woodrunner - 09-25-2016 02:36 AM Looking forward to seeing your babys' hids, Cee |
