It's done.

Straight forward: banged the TapAllure (Auberge) with GerbPurple (Omar) and the resulting kitty (Kerrigan)- and really a large number of cats for over a month now - shows Tapestry Allure.
When mated with a cat with more a recessive eye (Tally Tester showing light wash), they produced the buried Gerb Purple out from underneath.
It's been a long haul and I did not expect this initially as it breaks up the block of Gerbera eyes, but this is the final result.
