A new chapter in my cattery adventures has been born yesterday.With help of a friend.
And by buying some cheap boxes I was able to collect enough of them to try my luck with these menagerie kitties which may pass a colorful fur: the Confetti Cat.
It is a very exciting journey, I think, because these little buggers may hold breeding secrets yet to uncover.
I love puzzles...<3
Because Joy and Jerry look pretty similar I've only snapped one of them Smile

Last week my Confetti starters played hard to get with me.
They revealed though that at least one of them hides Sassy Whiskers.
Other than that it was a Genesis Smokey so I've put them in the naughty corner to overthink their sins.
It helped quite a lot this week they gave me 4 traits!
And she hides an eye color trait for sure because she carries the more recessive genesis water eyes.
So she hides mom's hidden eyes.

I have unpacked Ysolde to breed with a normal recessive cat to find out some more about her hidden traits other than the colored fur she may or may not hide.
It can be a pure CocoBerry on that part I think.

EDIT The same day I realized I was better of to use the repacker for Ysolde (thank God for the repacker option).
She hides mom's eyes so backbreeding is not my prefered way and I realize also we can only get a Confetti cat via a Confetti cat so I can better be careful with my promising OS-ers.
Hopefully they make her a cute brother so I can breed them together.
4T in one breed is pretty mindblowing.
Oke they didn't give me a colored fur but I better be provident with her until I have a good partner for her.
While 120 days is long and one could think it is plenty of time to breed a cat I think in the case of a Confetti cat at the rate people reported that they received a Genesis OS it is not such a long time.
