hi im new to all of this. how to you gain kittycat dollars and what are they used for? same as for jewels?

Hi Starr, welcome to KittyCats! We are happy that the kitties have found you! =^.^=
K$ is a special KittyCats currency, you can obtain it in 3 ways:
1. By sending cats or kitten boxes to the Menagerie (a sort of kitty heaven) this is called your Kitty Dollar Balance. You can use your Kitty Dollar Balance to buy items for your kitties at the Main Store or in the online cattery, like food, milk or vitamins and The Menagerie Tiger kitties (see below).
2. By paying your cattery dock, which you can obtain for free at the main store's lobby. The relation is 1L = 2.5K$. This is called your Kitty Dollar Bonus. You can also use your Kitty Dollar Bonus to buy items for your kitties at the Main Store or in the online cattery, like food, milk or vitamins.
3. By purchasing or receiving Gift Cards from the KittyCats Main Store. These K$ will also be part of your Kitty Bonus.
It might sound a bit confusing as to why they are differentiated but it's really easy to understand, here's why: There is a special type of cat called Menagerie Tiger. It comes in different types, Bengal, White and Disco (you can see them at the Main Store's entrance) and this special kitty can ONLY be purchased with Kitty Dollar Balance. That is, to be clear, with K$ you obtained by sending kitties or boxes to the Menagerie.
When you buy items from the Main Store using Kitty Dollars you must have the full amount to pay in K$. To do so you only need to right click the vendor and select K$ from the options menu.
To track your Kitty Dollars you can check your Kitty Dollars transactions in your Transactions page on our website http://kittycats.biz/transactions.php. or you can also know your current Balance and Bonus by touching the cattery dock and selecting the option "Add K$", you'll get a pop up menu with your current amount.
Jewels are very special, rare and random prizes your kitties can give you when they have a kitten box. They come rezzed on top of the new born kitty box and there are 3 different types: Diamonds, Rubies and Emeralds. They are used to be traded for a fancie cat, a very special looking kitty that will give you a jewel everytime it breeds (until it turns 120 days old) You need to collect the jewels and to be able to get a fancie cat you'll need either 10 Diamonds, 20 Rubies or 30 Emeralds.
