A friend told me there is a special floor that keeps the kitties from falling through the skybox floors but she can't remember where she heard about it and I can find nothing. I do have a problem with the Cats falling through the floor of my skybox . Any suggestions?Idea
Hmm will just a prim under your skybox keep them there ? you know a flattened box prim ?

I have never had that prob with kitty's falling from the sky, they might go just under now and then but they never fall just run around with there heads or ears popping from under the wood work hehhe
Hi Ciar Smile

I know Kitten Longmeadow has a special prim for skyboxes she shares via group notices every so often.
It has been a while since she did I think.
So it might not be in the past notices anymore.
I would ask her for such prim for your skybox.

I have found that a kitteh can make it through a window or wall
via some form of quantum mech guage theory,
somehow passing through solid objects either fully or partially.

I have had kittehs integrated with a sofa,
I have had kittehs hoovering outside a window with a half mile drop beneath em,
I have had kittehs tunneling under the surface of the Earth.
Just the other night I had a megapuss somehow make it through the
floorboards and end up in a deep trench beneath the sea,

. . .and it did not drown!!!

KittyCatS fact #543: KITTYCATS DO NOT NEED AIR!!!

Yah, those air holes in the box are just for show!

Though nothing is foolproof, I find making the walls and floors thicker
seems to help.
And its cheaper than hiring somebody with a bullhorn to yell at them
when they try one of these stunts!

"GIT BACK HERE!!"
A prim is a prim. Cats don't seem to have problems walking ON prims, but they are well-known to walk THROUGH them.

And, if they can't find their way back through they CAN wander further than their range-from-home would allow.

So rez a platform. Make sure it has several meters excess beyond their ranges. And, if you use walls, inside their range-from-home, be sure none of them prevent return to the Home area as the cats slide back and forth along them.

The only time Charm and I have problems is when the skybox is mesh. We find an invisible collision plane (as if the mesh skybox were phantom), placed slightly above the mesh floorplane, usually does the trick.
