Things I find annoying about the Pedigree and Cattery:
Cats showing information in-world which is not shown in either Pedigree page or the Cattery.
Cats showing information in a Pedigree page which does not appear in the Cattery.
Cats showing information in the Cattery which does not appear in either Pedigree page.
Inability to sort and/or select the Cattery.
Inconsistent information between related Pedigree Tree pages.
Missing or incorrect Fur images.
I've never had that issues...weird.
Not all that weird. Most of my annoyances are simply design oversights.
Examples:
First annoyance: Some boxes in the Cattery don't show Gender. Take the box in-world and you can see Gender. Send it back to Cattery and Gender still does not appear. Other boxes, however, show Gender in the Cattery all the time.
Second: In the Pedigree you can see both the visible, and the dominant. In the Cattery you only see one.
Third: Some boxes in the Cattery show the approximate creation date for the box. This does not appear in the Pedigree.
Fourth: This has been asked for again, and again. It's simple to do. I might give up on KittyCatS ever doing it and write a Grease Monkey script so users can add it on their own.
Fifth: Use several ALTs to manage your breeding programs. Pass parents and offspring from one ALT to another. You can follow the family tree from box to parent, but cannot follow the family tree from parent to box any more.
Sixth: Some of the furs are incorrectly referenced. The web pages simply use the wrong name (or the web page is correct and the file was placed in the wrong folder under online//images/ .. same thing). A few of the special collection paint-jobs have never been installed.
Ah,... Don't let this get under your skin.
I think they really do their best to work as fast as possible to a proper solution to some concerns.
It seems they have a very busy schedule.
I for example have a whisker problem, not IRL lucky enough.
Some whiskers only show from the front and not from the back of the cats and they promised to update that but it knows some delay.
This concerns the whiskers released after curious (frazzled and up) why I don't breed these whiskers until that is fixed.
And I so want to breed the Boo Boo whiskers but I can't stand a cat without whiskers when I look at them from behind so I have to wait for a fix.
This I don't like for example and I'm sure more people would like a variety of things different therefore I think we need to relax a bit.
We should not forget the Online Cattery is still beta and the Gender before birth and the image mode still young
I'm sure they have to iron things out here and there and correct some mistakes and things they overlooked.

Not to mention we don't pay for the online features like most breedables. I think there is only one coder for the site (I could be wrong).
Some of the things you mentioned they have already been talked about (allowing new owners/alts to still see the past pedigree) there was a lot of people who did not want this. It may be different now, but you can only do a post asking about it to see.
I'll save my annoyance list as KC can hardly do anything about it (one has to do with **why** some people may not want their alts to be connected to their main breeder acct, and how many new breeders there really are...) and will just go with Tad's list.
The 3rd point is bugging me (date of creation for boxes not available in individual pedigree pages). I don't have a clue yet as to how the babies' order is decided on each parent's pedigree page. It doesn't seem to coincide with date of box creation, and I often want to check the latest baby to re-pair parents and if I forgot/wasn't able to write it down when I looked at the box when it was created, I have to go through all the babies, and sometimes even take a guess. It'd be really handy to have the boxes sorted under their parent by date or at least make explicit how they're sorted please.
I've just started to use my alt to keep my retired kitties awaiting permapetting or other things and, yes, it'd be nice to be able to follow the pedigree tree in both directions. I'm taking screenshots of some, but being able t odo it (maybe checking a box like we did for gender and establishing a connection with your alt in the way SL handles partnerships?) from the website would be much more helpful to me.
I haven't yet noticed some of the other issues mentioned, and I'm trying to remember how costume kitties are listed in both cattery and pedigree but can't remember and I don't have any in my online cattery at the moment I'm afraid.
The issue I have with the Tree is not that we can't see the parents but, owning both parents and their box, we can't see the box when we look at the parents; we can see the parents from the box. So it's a one-way link. Owning a box gives you permission to see the parents and grandparents, but owning the parents does not give you permission to see their box which YOU OWN. Consider the question: should I release this mother? Well, if she's produced the box we want, yes. But has she? Who knows. The only way to know is to check every box and see if she's its mother.
The other issue, which bit me today and promoted the posting, is I had some boxes which I could see the Gender in-world but could not see the Gender in the Cattery. Charm finally convinced me to open the boxes. Which brought out another annoyance: some boxes take 15 minutes, some take 5, and some start by saying they'll take 15, but only take 4 .. and the countdown jumps from 15 to 4.
Yes, I know there's only one programmer. And, yes, he's got a lot on his plate. I'm not expecting changes any time soon; which is why I'm seriously considering adding sort/select capabilities using GreaseMonkey. Yes, it'd be fragile since, if he does make changes, the local Java scripts will break. But it'd be better than having to scroll back and forth through all those cats, constantly overlooking the one we want.
Collection cats are 5 min countdown. Normal cats are 15 (they use to be 30). Again I've never had an issue looking at a mother cat that I own to see its offspring that I own, unless I somehow moved it to an alt then moved it back - which is how it works as I said before. As I said it may be an issue to work with, I guess I'm just not bothered that much in the end - but I'm fairly laid back.
Some of the mentioned issues I never experienced but anyway KC has a wonderful team and they do their best to please their customers so I think we should mention our issues nicely.
There are other breedables companies who answer your ticket after a week when you just need your lost pet back not a new feature, so we should appreciate the wonderful team that works hard for us, I don't say we don't complain or don't ask for things, we do but please nicely and have patience.

That'd be similar to my response to your 3rd issue then. You can see the offspring if you click on one parent, but not sure which baby was created when, therefore more difficult to tell/remember who the other parent is. Unless you mean you can't see the box at all, which hasn't happened to me if I own it.
And later yesterday I noticed we can now filter kitties by age on the main pedigree page!!!!!
you can choose Box, > 0, < 121 and > 120.

That's interesting and something I wasn't aware of - if you move the kitty to an alt and back you can't see their OS anymore? The system assumes you never owned the kitty before?
