I've just been looking through the archives, and it seems not many people are achieving KittyCat of the month in recent times compared to way back in the first few years of the competition. Presumably because there are so many more combinations of traits available now, it probably makes it that much harder to match all 9 of the requirements.

Do we really have to match with all 9 traits to win a prize? Or if there are no winners at the end of the month, are prizes given to the breeders who matched the most traits in that month?

Every month a special KittyCatS! will be selected to breed for. All 9 traits must be matched in order to win a prize.

The rules are simple and it's easy to participate. Anyone who breeds the "KittyCat Of The Month" during the month can request to have its "KittyCat of the Month" turned into a large 300cm cat and on top will be rewarded with a KittyCatS Jewel. The first person who breeds one will get a KittyCatS Diamond, the second will get a KittyCatS Ruby and everyone else who breeds one will get a KittyCatS Emerald.
You cannot buy the KittyCatS of the month, it has to be self-bred.
